Ever felt stuck in a rut? Ever felt like you’ve just done nothing exciting with your life?  Well you’ve come to the right place to change that.  A few months ago I was feeling like I just needed to do something different and get out of my comfort zone.  I looked on the internet, probably as you are doing now,

Although I was only working in Legodimo for about a month, I feel as if the whole experience was some kind of long dream. To me it seems amazing that I can board a plane and travel halfway around the world to a place so incredibly foreign compared to my hometown in Massachusetts.

Three weeks ago we went to Makula Makete to learn about their cheetah conservation project. Makula Makete is one of 23 game reserves in South Africa who have endeavoured to save this highly endangered species!

Almost two months ago I started my 'Big Adventure', going to the bush of Botswana without really knowing what it would be like. After 30 hours of travelling and a night in a lodge, myself and my friend, Jeroen De Muynck, arrived at camp, our new home for the next two months!

How does one write about the "Legodimo experience?"
As the first volunteer here, the information was basic so I was in for a few surprises.
I was met at the airport by a young man (Gerrit) who runs the project, whose enthusiasm for the reserve and his knowledge of the animals, birds and plants is very catching.
